Cameron placed 2nd in Hertogenbosch

CAMERON Hanley, the only Irish rider now capable of qualifying for the Show Jumping World Cup Final in Las Vegas, showed a turn of speed this morning (Saturday) when he piloted the nine year-old grey stallion to second place in the 1m40 class at -'s- Hertogenbosch (Pr. SHER-TOGEN-BOSCH), in the Netherlands, finishing less than half a second behind top-ranked German rider Marcus Ehning.

SIEC Team rider, Cameron Hanley will need to produce an exceptional performance in Sunday afternoon's World Cup class at the Dutch show to gain enough points to qualify him for April's World Cup Las Vegas Final. Though currently the highest placed of the Irish in the Western European tables with 24 points, the Claremorris-born rider may need a win on Sunday to bring him safely into the qualification zone.
